About the Author

Peter Grose is a former New York Times and Foreign Affairs editor. He is also the author of Operation Rollback: America’s Secret War Behind the Iron Curtain and Gentleman Spy, a biography of Allen Dulles. He periodically appears on the History Channel, CBS News, and C-Span to comment on the history of intelligence.
 
Grose is an associate in the International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
